Restart your computer in normal mode to activate windows"When I start in normal mode and log onto a profile I getI cannot access anything beyond this dialog box. No Start button anywhere. When I click "Close" on the normal boot up it drops me out to the login screen.I have looked at the other fixes but they seem to require me to open IE or click the Start button but these are not accessible. I did try to run the scripts from the Repair console command prompt but nothing happens.I have done a system restore to almost every point I can and it makes no difference. What few remaining follicles I have clinging to my head are in great danger of being torn out in frustration. All help welcomed. I'll try to describe what's going on to the best of my ability, but I'll be the first to admit I should not have tried this on my own as I really have no idea what I'm doing lol. Anyway... I've been running Windows Vista and wanted to try linux. I decided to dual-boot. I shrunk the vista partition, restarted the computer, then installed Ubuntu using Wubi. When I turn on the computer, I now have the option to run on Vista or Linux. When I choose to run on Linux, it works great, but when I try to run it on Vista I get this "Windows Activation An error has occurred Code: 0xC004E002 Description: The software licensing service reported that the license store contains inconsistent data" If I didn't say that in the right terms or something, feel free to correct me and help me out. Hopefully I've been clear enough that you at least get the gist of what I'm saying lol. Does anyone know how I can fix this? And if the process it really hard or complicated, I wouldn't be totally opposed to deleting Vista altogether, but I
