Another series of disk checks from the CD didn't come up with anything. After rebooting to Windows, the disk was just fine.Any idea what might be causing something like this? The disk is less than a year old and I doubt XP can find errors with it that Western Digital cannot. Thanks in advance for any hints. norton_I Ars Praefectus Registered: Apr 30, 2001Posts: 3784 Posted: Tue Dec 18, 2007 4:02 am Paging may also mean demand loading of executables or dlls.chkdsk normally only checks filesystem layout, but I would expect the WD utilities to

I have a 120gb force 3 drive thats about 6 months old, ever since I got it it has randomly been throwing up EventId 51 An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 during a paging operation. I always suspected it was to do with flash webpages and often closing ie9 stopped the errors, but not always. Atm the errors are practicaly none stop and I dont have a clue whats causing them, browser is closed and resource monitor shows very little disc activity. Also recently I have been getting F4 03 BSOD which I think maybe related to the ssd problem, or might be related to the ati vid card drivers I recently installed. Hard to tell as there is no crash dump for some reason which points the finger at the drive being the problem. I use the latest amd achi drivers, have also changed the sata cable to the drive, have the latest firmware installed and win7 64bit is fully updated. My hard disc sentinal software says the ssd is in excellent condition with no errors. I have pagefile tur
