(rsProcessingAborted) Query http://stackoverflow.com/questions/38520898/ssrs-an-error-has-occurred-during-report-processing-the-timeout-period-elapsed-p execution failed for dataset 'report_dataset'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand) Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. I have changed report timeout to "Never" and increased the Dataset timeout from Dataset properties to a greater value. Also from "Site setting" I have changed it to "Never timeout". 2ndly, when I ran this query: SELECT plan_handle, st.text FROM sys.dm_exec_cached_plans CROSS APPLY sys.dm_exec_sql_text(plan_handle) AS st where objtype = 'Proc' AND st.[text] like '%[my stored procedure name here]%' It gave me plan_handle and st.text. Then I tried to clear this using: -- Remove the specific execution plan from the cache. DBCC FREEPROCCACHE (0x050017005CBF201940A1CE91000000000000000000000000); GO However, its showing error: An incorrect number of parameters was given to the DBCC statement. I checked in MSDN here (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms174283.aspx) and this "FREEPROCCACHE" looks correct Note: I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2. Executing SP from SSMS is showing only 1200 records in 35 secs. Could anyone please tell me what is going wrong? Is there any other way to resolve this timeou

You can solve this issue by increasing the timeout value or tuning the query, that should be the best thing to do. 0 Write Comment First Name Please enter a first name Last Name Please enter a last name Email We will never share this with anyone.
