I'm trying to mail merge from the Outlook client. But when I click OK in the mail merge screen I get the following error message: "An error has occured in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mail Merge". This happens on the default and new created Templates. In eventvwr I see An error occurred with the Microsoft CRM Outlook add-in. Restart Microsoft Outlook and try again. HR=0x800a11f9. Context=General. Function=CMailMerge::DoMailMergeInternal. Line=1471. However, we've found that opening Word 2010 (with a blank document) then running the Mail Merge on CRM will work, over-and-over. It appears that CRM was having an issue with launching MS Word, hanging, and yielding the error. So, I'd propose trying: Open MS Word, Launch the CRM2011 Mail Merge, let us know what happens...
