I'm trying to import an excel file of contacts into my Oulook Contacts. When I get to the last step I keep getting an error file that says: "An error has occured in the Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Translator while getting the contents of a file system. The Microsoft Excel 97-2003 file "...file name I'm using" has no named ranges. Use Microsoft Excel 97-2003 to name the range of data you want to import." How do I do this? Also, an error has can I do this if I'm using the 2007 version? Thank you! Welcome, abby. Here are three ways; there are others. All should be OK in all versions of Excel. Excel help also refers. HTH, Fazzaselect the data range in Excel and type the name in the 'name box' at the top LHS.
