(it worked before!)we found that belkin have now put windows 7 drivers for the F5D7050 adapter up on their website somy daddownloaded the correct one (yes i know it is the right one). he said he installed it just fine but it doesn't work. when the adapter is plugged in, it realises its there but says 'no driver found'. the name of the hardware doesn't even come up when it's plugged in. so i tried the obvious thing which is to uninstall the driver and try again but i can't uninstall it, i just get the error as soon as the setup runs that says 'an error occurred while defining the dialog box'i have tried everything to uninstall it but i just get the error. could it be because i have tried to install it so many times before? i have always uninstalled it correctly afterwards.by the way, we did try to do a system restore but we were only able to go back to the 25th because that's when i last tried to install the adapter. it did nothing. please help me!EDIT: ok i managed to remove it with revo uninstaller pro and reinstall it PROPERLY but it still doesn't work. my network doesn show up in the list and the network diagnostics tell me i have a driver issue

When I try to uninstall the previous driver through either Belkin's direct uninstall method or the the Control Panel method, I get the error message "an error occurred while defining the dialog box". Trying to overwrite the original driver (which BTW, appears to have been uninstalled along with the Network Utility software - itself a separate uninstall procedure - according to the Device Manager, which lists https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23131242/Can't-uninstall-Belkin-F5D8051-USB-Driver.html no network adapters, produces the same error message. Running Registry Mechanic 6.0 and manually removing all vestiges of Belkin from the registry does not solve problem. Belkin says this is a Java error and to upgrade to the latest runtime version (6 with update 3) but this has not worked either. I'm using WinXP SP2 with all the latest updates in place. 0 Question by:powellph1 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 23 Best Solution byphototropic Is system restore an option? be corrupted or you may be out of hard disk space. Clear some space, and then try to open file" (KB016038) Modified on: Wed, Jul 16, 2014 at 10:26 AM Various errors can mean that your database file is corrupted and is unreadable by your program. Some of the common errors are: - MFC Application error. This program has encountered a problem and will now be closed by Windows. - This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. - My data has caused an invalid page fault in module mfc42.dll - An error has occurred while opening the database file. The database may be corrupted or you may be out of disk space. Clear some space and try to open the file. If you have a corrupted database file that will not open in your program, this usually occurs because your system shut down or "froze" unexpectedly while your list file was open and active in your database program. This can happen if you experience a power outage, a system failure, or a program error from ANY program running on your system while our database program is running at the same time. Essentially, if our database program is not allowed to save the file and close normally, the active database that was in use at the time can become corrupted. When the database list file is open, the data is in a "writeable" state and the database is in flux as it sits in your computer memory. If the program cannot close down properly and save the data in your file properly, the integrity of the database can become compromised. When this happens, either the file will not open at all or whenever you try to make a change to the file, the program will crash. ALWAYS TRY TO RESTORE A BACKUP FILE FIRST. This is the easiest and most complete way to restore a database if you encounter file problems. The file's Administrator should have been periodically making Backups to ensure the data is protected in case of a corruption problem This Backup command is located in the File menu. To Restore a Backup: - Open a new blank database file in the program as the Administrator. It does not matter the file name or the file location - you just want to get the program running with a database file active. - Go to the File menu and choose Restore - Browse to the folder location on your hard drive or the location on your backup server to where you created your file's Backup. When you see the Backup file you want to restore in the browsing window, double-click on it to open it. - A Browse for Destination Folder dialog will appear. You want to choose the folder in which you want the newly restored file to be located. Highlight your selection, then click OK. - You will now be pr
