To fix it, try first to compact yourfolders whilst offline. Do this by selecting and clicking File | Folder |Compact All Folders. If this doesn't resolve the problem then close OEand rename (or delete) the file folders.dbx in your Identity's storefolder. You can establish the location of the store by selecting Tools |Options | Maintenance | Store Location. When OE restarts it will rebuild anew clean copy of folders.dbx.Note though that folders.dbx is the master index for the message store andstores not only the layout of your folders in the folder list but also, for example, the details of the messages that have been read in thenewsgroups and also the list of available newsgroups. This informationwill be lost when you delete folders.dbx meaning that for example yourfolders list will have all folders as being top level folders and you willhave to rebuild any folder tree you might have, likewise detail

I thought to try to fix any problems with the IE6 program using Add/Remove Program from Settings in Windows an error ME, but that solved nothing. I thought to try to redownload all of IE6 but that isn't working either. I get an error that the setup files are missing and to restart then resume setup which is supposed to download the missing files. That's not working either. I don't know if those problems are related or not.
