No solutions ? I use the module for several weeks. Today, for the first time, suddenly this message appears on top of our page : XML Parsing Error at 2:26. Error 7: mismatched tag The module disappeared. Unpublishing the module takes away the error. XML file did not load when i am trying to open my http://geekswithblogs.net/influent1/archive/2007/06/29/113594.aspx rocketheme/joomla template details. Joomla's default templates work fine. For now its highly important for us to solve the problem with out akeeba. Is that because of a database table missing information or a file problem? #884454 Who? Preeminent Rocketeer Posts: 25562 Thanks: 609 Joomla freelancer Re: XML file did not load Posted 3 years 11 months ago Please trust me that you will solve this issue faster if you backup your site with Akeeb now and restore it to the new location Are you on the same server for both sites or on different servers? Compare php informations on both server Check my services at: Mihha-Vision #884461 tsiak Newbie Posts: 15 Thanks: 2 Re: XML file did not load Posted 3 years 11 months ago The problem is that the transferred site has changed a lot since the restoration (it's a daily newspaper). That's why i can't use the akeeba. I am on the same server (centos/cpanel). i used successfully phpmyadmin to backup and then restore database to the new site, SSH to copy the files, correct permissions etc.I believe its a rocketheme problem because other themes & extensions work fine. #884500 Who? Comments (27) | Share So I was writing a script to pull out some old xml data, and I happened upon this error: XML parsing error: An invalid character was found in text content. It probably would have taken me centuries to figure out what character it didn't like, so I tried concatenating the following line to the front of the xml column in the SELECT statement I used to populate the cursor for openxml, and voila, no more error! I guess bumbles really do bounce.
