I installed it on a https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/6df00bbd-b4db-4759-8857-f33b7844e95a/vba-issues-in-excel-2013?forum=officeitpro brand new PC tried to open an excel file which uses VBA and i get this error message: An error occurred initializing the VBA libraries (1004) then it asks me if i want to repair the install since a component is missing. If i say yes, it does repair it and then i can use my file, but right after i close it, i get the same message if i open it again. If i say https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21423010/An-error-occurred-initializing-the-VBA-libraries-1004.html no i get this message: An error occurred initializing the VBA libraries (1004) The thing i think is that VBA isn't correclty installed (wierd since it's a brand new install thgouh .....) and even though i repair it doesn't keep it. The other point i can mention is that, if i accept the repair then when closing XL i get an error telling me "an error occured blablabla" with a checkbox to restart it. the basic error message. I don't get it if i don't repair. Any hints ? If this did not resolve your issue please let me know. Please let me know if the issue was corrected

Solved An error occurred initialising the an error vba libraries (1004) Posted on 2009-06-29 MS Applications MS Excel MS Office 3 Verified Solutions 17 Comments 2,903 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-07 I have one remote user who is experiencing this issue. She's running Windows XP SP3, Office 2003 and is fully patched up and it's affecting all office products, not just excel. As all of the initializing the vba documents she works on contain macros, this is causing her severe difficulty. I have researched for 3 days not but cannot find a solution. I have uninstalled and re-installed the VBA tools (uninstalling and reinstalling Access in the process). I have tried a repair, I have checked that her oleaut32.dll is the same as mine. I am thinking that it may be a profile related issue but I don't know. Does anyone have any other suggestions for me? 0 Question by:instem Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Active 6 days ago Best Solution byinstem OK. It's now working. We uninstalled some of our software that utilises Word as part of it's reporting and then gone through the previous user and office removal and re-install and it is now working.
