Options ->Security and trust ->Uncheck “Automatically determine security level” (If database/webservice is on same domain then select domain else select proper option) 3. Convert your data connection in udcx file. For this, create a data connection library in MOSS. Now open infopath form -> tools->Data connections Select data connection and click on “Convert… “ button. Give data connection library url with file name. 4. Now open Data Connection Library and Right click on udcx file -> "Approve/Reject" -> Select Approve and click OK. 5. Goto Central Administration ->Application Management->configure infopath form services-> “Allow user form templates to use authentication information contained in data connection files” option must be checked.If your database/web service is placed on another domain then you need to check next option “Allow cross-domain data access for user form templates that use connection settings in a data connection file”.Hope, It helps!!! InfoPath cannot connect to the data source. Access is denied. One of the big issues with InfoPath Forms is its error reporting. It could sometimes piss you off. It says there is a problem that is it! We have to spend lot of time clicking and clicking and clicking buttons all over trying to find where is the problem. May be that is how these tools should work… Steps to go with when you get the above error: The above error seems to be quite often and it hints that there is some problem with the ‘Data Source/Connection'. If the form is showing the error while loading i.e form never loads but shows a message to ‘continue or start over', then there is some problem with the data source which is set up to ‘Automatically retrieve data when form is opened'. If the above is the situation then open up the Data Sources window (Tools - Data Connections) and make sure that the data connection is set up properly and the data source is in place, working and serves requests. If the above error is shown when user does some action like clicking on button, then check the Rules in the prop

InfoPath Error This error is caused by the user not having rights on the parent site but only on the sub site. As the K2 blackpearl Data Connections Library is created on the parent site and not on the sub site the user can access the form but cannot submit the form. Resolution Assign ‘Read’ permissions for the user directly on the K2 blackpearl Data Connections Library in the parent site (View All Site Content).
