This is very frustrating and it does this every ****ing time I try to sign in to psn on my ps4. What I don't understand is the fact why I have to install the 1.75 update when I already have the latest version. (1.75) This is so frustrating! Nothing has worked for me at all and I'm now starting to regret turning in my Xbox One. Please help? I don't feel like having to spend more money because of one simple problem. That helps if there is a corrupted file on your system. Also remember that your ps4 still has a 1 year warranty and that the online sony support is really helpful. I am able to download the file http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/an-error-has-occurred-on-the-server-su-30696-4.454161311/ without any problems, and when it reaches 100% I see the message "preparing to install" for a second or 2 and then the message "unable to install". I have tried to install over a dozen times. The message in my Errror Message history is always this same (SU-30641-4)error, and I am not able to locate this error message on the list provided in http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Consoles-Peripherals/Update-error-code-SU-30641-4/td-p/42453415 the "Error Message" thread.I had not logged on in about 4 days, so I had 3 updates waiting, the System Update 1.52, the BattleField 4 update and COD Ghosts update. All files uploaded fine, the 2 games updated then the system update tried to install and failed.Previously I have been able to play games and watch netflix with no issues before needing to install the newest update, and now I cant even log onto psn. This is like a blinking check engine light in the car, impossible to understand without a magic decoder ring. The error can occur after an update, especially an error occurred if you had a corrupted update package. Downloading the updates after that point messes things up, and the solution can be re-initializing the system. That’s almost as much work as reformatting the hard drive.Or try running the patch in safe mode via the system update method. It does not seem to even let me connect to the internet, and I certainly cannot sign in. What else can I do?I’ve read where they advice you to delete every partition on the PS4 hard drive, download a fresh copy of the update and initialize the system. And what are the odds that voids the warranty? That is a risk, and the last step would be sending it back for repair. But reformatting the drive works, right? If formatting the hard drive does not work, then it is a ROM error. That means it has to go to Sony for repair. That means losing most or all of the saved game progress. What a weird set of priorities! Look, the error may occur when you try to connect when it comes on –The PlayStation 4 tries to connect any time it is turned on. Only it does not seem to be connecting.Go check the settings. Restore them to defaults if you did not h
