What divx player is this? Why not just use the setup routine to let it install and register the files for you? How do you know this divx player is compatible with Windows 7.If this is DivX 7, then the executable will automatically place the files where they need to be. I made the installation disk using nLite about a year ago from my licensed Windows XP installation disk. I checked and the file is in the i386\system32 folder on the installation disk. I have previously used the same disk to an error occurred install Windows XP on my system about 5 times, with no problems. (Don't ask) I have NOT made any hardware changes. I have wiped the harddrive before the attemped install. I even tried rebuilding the installation using nLite, but have the same problem. I have also tried the install uning the original Microsoft disk. I hope someone can help me. All I can find when searching Google, are apps to scan and repair for $$. Perhaps you need to rebuild the slipstream (to include the F6 option to install other drivers). Can I direct you here; http://www.howtogeek.com/forum.....?replies=3 Mike Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top gizzmoid8963y Posts: 4 This post has been reported. Mike, Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that all of the needed drivers and a boat load of MS updates (dotnet, java, MSI, + a gazillion more) are included in my nLite installation disk. Any other suggestions? Clark Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top gizzmoid8963y Posts: 4 This post has been reported. I found the problem. My SSD took a dump. Or so Windows is telling SB (that '59' is a Windows error number, and the text that follows it is the Windows error text, as quoted in that MS article). SB is simply quoting what Windows told it for your info. Nothing SB can do about the error itself (it can't argue with Windows).Unfortunately, like many Windows errors, it's annoyingly vague. It's also not one I've encountered personally, so you may need to Google for suggestions, employ lots of trial and error, etc, unless anyone else reading this has experience of it (and solved it). But you could do worse than cold-reset all the items involved (PC, NAS and any router/hub), swap out cables, etc. It's also not unknown for items (network cards/chips, etc) to lock up (etc) due to heat stress with the constant throughout of a large backup job, while copying the occasional file or two works fine. This does not mean it is the fault of the backup software, but possibly the failure of (some part of) the system to support sustained traffic. If you're using a laptop (thus, difficult to swap out the network adapter...) you could try swapping out (i.e. borrowing, etc) another PC and check if it can copy a lot of stuff to the NAS OK (or, consider getting one of those USB<>LAN adapters for the laptop and trying that instead)PS: be very wary of any Google hits that claim
