I am new here, I apologize. Anyway, last night I finished a mix of a tune I've been working on for the last week or so. I wanted to export it and burn it onto a cd to listen to in my car, just for the hell of it. Unfortunately, no matter what I tried, no matter how many different settings I http://forum.recordingreview.com/f23/audio-mixdown-nuendo-2-a-13983/ changed, I couldn't get the song out of the program. At all. I tried last night for a few minutes, figured I was just tired and frustrated, and decided to really figure it out today. But still, nothing works. Please help -- it's increasingly frustrating to think that all of the time I've spent working on this damn song has been in vain. Thanks! - 12-23-2008,04:56 PM #2 sparqee View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Mega Member Join Date Apr 2008 Posts 969 Re: Problem with Audio Mixdown in Nuendo 2 Well, you didn't give much in the way of specific information so it's kind'a hard to offer any help. Are you using the export function? If so what settings did you use? and so on. Nuendo is pretty high end. One advantage of buying such an expensive application is you get free support from Steinberg. You should create an account at the user section of the Steinberg web site and see what information/support they can offer you. - Sparqee __________________ - 12-23-2008,07:41 PM #3 jt_jacobi View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries Brand New Member Join Date Dec 2008 Posts 3 Re: Problem with Audio Mixdown in Nuendo 2 Yes, I went to Export and then into Audio Mixdown. I managed to get it out as an mp3 but it
once you have registered. Cubase SX2 wont export- "an error occurred during expor Discussion in 'Cubase' started by Multani, Aug 2, 2005. Multani Guest AAH! i just spent two days recording the song and got a good rough mix http://recording.org/threads/cubase-sx2-wont-export-an-error-occurred-during-expor.21759/ to get into MP3 and then upload it etc. i only just got this program tho and dont really know what i am doing- i click file, then export, then audio mixdown, then mp3, at highest quality (96kbits/ 48000khz/ stereo), then i set my ID£ tag options, then i click ok, straight away it comes up with- "an error occured during the export!" my question is- how do i solve this!! A hefty goes to the person who an error can solve this dilemia. goodnight. Multani, Aug 2, 2005 #1 Opus2000 Distinguished Member Joined: Apr 7, 2001 A very simple newbie problem that is very easy to solve... You must set the locator points--L and R So..set the beginning marker(L) to the beginning of the song and ending marker(R) to the end of the song! Simple way of doing this is: go to the end of the song and make sure the time line bar is there and press an error occurred CTRL+2 Export audio...voila! HTH Opus Opus2000, Aug 2, 2005 #2 Multani Guest Hmm- i did do that but i put them round the wrong way i think! when i done it the "in between bit" was red- i will try the other way now............................................................................................................................................... Yes!! the other way round (the right way i guess!) works. thank ye Multani, Aug 3, 2005 #3 Multani Guest arrgh- there is another problem though- i got it exported into mp3, but there is just no sound at all- just silence when i play it/...................... is there something i have still missed? Multani, Aug 3, 2005 #4 Opus2000 Distinguished Member Joined: Apr 7, 2001 One of things about Steinberg's mixdown is that exporting to MP3 seems to not work properly...at least the last time I checked which was several versions ago( beta testing versions that is! ) I'll recheck it again but to be honest I don't recommend exporting to MP3 directly from the application itself. Export it down to a wave file then use Wavelab or any other program that converts wave to MP3 to do the conversion. Opus Opus2000, Aug 3, 2005 #5 dedalus Guest Yeah best to export to .wav anyway for CDDA reasons even if you plan on compressing it with something else. Also make sure your output bus was set up correctly and that it was, in fact, what you were exporting. ded
