Multani, Aug 2, 2005 #1 Opus2000 Distinguished Member Joined: Apr 7, 2001 A very simple newbie problem that is http://recording.org/threads/cubase-sx2-wont-export-an-error-occurred-during-expor.21759/ very easy to solve... You must set the locator points--L and R So..set the beginning marker(L) to the beginning of the song and ending marker(R) to the end of the song! Simple way of doing this is: go to the end of the song and make sure the time line bar is there and press CTRL+2 Export audio...voila! HTH Opus Opus2000, Aug 2, 2005 #2 Multani Guest Hmm- i did do that but i put them round the wrong way i think! when i done it the "in between bit" was red- i will try the other way now............................................................................................................................................... This is the first time I've tried it on my new computer. I follow the right steps of file, audio mixdown, export, etc., etc.. Then I hit save and get the infamous pop up of Error occured during the export. Be advised my locaters/markers are correct, they are not backwards. My an error occurred top bar line is blue. I don't get it. Any help is greatly aprecciated. The Left one you must Tick the "Output Channel ---> Stereo Output". At the right panel, there are several dialogs, in the "Audio Engine Output" dialog leave every option blank. Check what happens with those options. I think you already did this, but you never know. This is just in case. Rock is Still Alive... I've tried both to no avail. I did however get it to work by checking real time export but then you have to let the whole track play. I don't have the time to do all of my exports this way, especiallay when bouncing/exporting whole albums. unthreaded | newestfirst tribes » Music » Cubase SX » topics » Trouble Exporting an Audio Mixdown topic posted Sun, October 2, 2005 - 2:32 PM by Asharah I just created a simple three track project in Cubase SE (yes, it's not the full version), and although I've had great luck in the past exporting audio mixdowns, when I try to export this one as ANY audio file format, Cubase tells me that "An error occurred during the export" without any more detail. I admit I'm an amateur at this program, but I didn't do anything different this time than I have in the past. Has this been happening to anyone else? posted by: Asharah Washington, D.C. 628 friends join to post Advertisement J Re... 35 Re: Trouble Exporting an Audio Mixdown Sun, October 2, 2005 - 9:34 PM Do you have left and right locators set? In SE, they are both set to bar 1, beat 1, 16th 1, tic 1 when you first start a new project. join to post Asharah 628 Re: Trouble Exporting an Audio Mixdown Sun, October 2, 2005 - 11:17 PM yeah... i do. Usually if i forget that, the program tells me to set them. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently than I was before... grr. join to post Unsu... Re: Trouble Exporting an Audio Mixdown Tue, October 4, 2005 - 2:42 AM Are you on a Mac or PC? What Audio Interface (soundcard) are you using? It could be a bad setting in Cubase's audio device setup. You might want to check out your audio hardware settings. In Cubase SX it's in the Devices menu... under Device Setup... then VST Multitrack (I might be remembering wrong though). Might be the same path in Cubase SE, but I'm not sure. ??? You may want to make sure it's set to the proper version of your soundcard's driver (ie: instead of MME or DX driver, set to ASIO if you're on a PC). If you're on a Mac, none of this applies since Cubase will automatically set itself to your built-in sound (if you're not using another audio interface). The only other options is "No Sound" and Cubase would warn you if audio had become disabled. Tell us more specifics about your setup (computer type, OS, hardware etc...) and maybe we can think of some bet
