Now that my PC is working again I cannot reinstall my recently purchased upgrade of Peachtree Complete Accounting 2003. I receive a message stating "unInstaller setup failed to initialize. You may not be able to uninstall this product." After hitting the OK button, the installation starts again but then stops with the message "An error occurred during the move date process :-115". After hitting OK to this message the installation stops and takes me https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH13204.html right back to the beginning Peachtree installation screen. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? chalkbrad View Public Profile Find all posts by chalkbrad #2 05-11-2003, 06:22 PM chuayp Peachtree User Since 1996 Join Date: Oct 2001 Location: Sabah, Malaysia Posts: 156 What version you are using to install (before install the upgrade version) Try to copy setup file from the cd to your hard drive and install it. Then when installing on the workstations set the data and program paths to look local. Once the installation is finished then you can change the pcw*.ini file so the datapath looks to the server. This error could also be from a damaged cd or a faulty cd drive. The software was installed and working on my PC before the major system crash that forced me to reinstall Windows XP Pro. Now that Windows is working, I cannot reinstall PT Complete Accounting 2003. I have a CDRW and a DVD drive and have tried installing from both, so I don't believe the problem is with the CD drive. The copy of PT software is a 5-user license and has recently been installed on another PC without problem. Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be appreciated. chalkbrad View Public Profile Find all posts by chalkbrad #5 05-12-2003

We are currently researching the issue and will give more information here when it is available. JodiH 26 Jun 2008 9:27 AM Cancel 9 Replies JodiH 26 Jun 2008 1:33 PM On an error occurred Quantum 2009, when attempting to apply Service Release 2 (SR2), the update will run successfully on the serverbut not on the workstations. IfSR2 has been programmatically downloaded on the workstation, you will see the message "An error occurred during the move data process: -115" when it is automatically applied. When attempting to open a company on the workstation afterthe updatehas been applied to the server, you will see the message "Cannot find SPState.xml file". This is happening because the SmartPosting service is locking some files that SR2is trying to patch. As a workaround, you can stop the SmartPosting service (via services.msc) on the server before downloading the Quantum patch or Quantum Accountants' Edition patch from Peachtree.com, then running the patch exe fileson each workstation manually.
