: An error occured during the move data process NewsArchive11-12-1999, 01:00 AMHi all. With the Project Wizard I have made a test-setup on my PC (Win NT) with http://community.installshield.com/archive/index.php?t-33920.html two files in two components (one file per component). All works fine on this machine. When I try to launch the same setup on another machine (both WinNT and Win98), http://www.quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=18602 the installation shows this message: "An error occurred during the move data process -113" On Help I have found : "Specified file cannot be opened as read-only. If svComponent and an error svFileGroup are empty, svFile contains the name of the file that cannot be opened as read-only. If svComponent and svFileGroup are not empty, then svFile contains the name of the file (inside the file media library) that cannot be opened as read-only." But I have no file in read-only mode. What is the problem ? Thank you Michele NewsArchive11-12-1999, 01:00 AMHello an error occurred Michelle, What version of InstallShield are you using? Have you tried rebuilding the Media under a different name? It sounds like you may have done a quick build instead of a full build, and you will need to do a full build if you plan on running the setup on a machine other than your development machine.
