DISCUSSION Microsoft Wind...ernet Explorer Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now I am working with an error occurred during this operation print ie10 a client who's only affected programs are IE 11 and Sage 300, which most likely uses some IE component for printing so I imagine one fix will do it. When printing they just get the https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2445751 error message "An error occurred during this operation," and nothing prints. This started when they got back from lunch yesterday. So far I've reset IE settings and deleted personal settings. I've also tried a system restore to several days before the issue occurred. I disabled protected mode for the internet zone. None of these fixed the issue. Any thoughts? Or is it not even getting that far? 0 Sonora OP jamespequignot2 Mar 17, 2015 at 1:16 UTC Thanks for the reply! It's not getting to the print dialog box so I'm not able to pick a printer at all. I forgot to mention I can print from Chrome and office applications without an issue. 0 Cayenne OP relientKitten Mar 17, 2015 at 1:19 UTC If you print preview the page does it show anything? 0 Sonora OP jamespequignot2 Mar 17, 2015 at 1:20 UTC Yes. Print preview works. 0 Cayenne OP relientKitten Mar 17, 2015 at 1:23 UTC Have you scanned for malware? Or tried uninstalling/reinstalling IE11? 0 Sonora OP adevorss Mar 17, 2015 at 1:57 UTC Have you tried adding the site you are trying to print from to the compatibility view list 0 Sonora OP jamespequignot2 Mar 17, 2015 at 2:18
file - > 'page-setup' and get an error saying "an error occurred during this operation". this happens when trying to print on some other application too, such as notepad and adobe reader. Would be extremely grateful if http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/an-error-occurred-during-this-operation.713065/ anyone had any ideas as i'm reluctant to re-install the o/s. You need to find this file and rename it mprintui.dll then get a copy of printui.dll to replace the microsoft version of the same file name which was destroyed when Lantastic overwrote the file name during an error installation. We deployed the CR SDK 13 sp 14 64 bit runtime. The user has .Net 4.5.1 installed. Thanks 268Views Re: "An error occurred during this operation" when clicking on the Print button in the WinForms CR Viewer Andreas G Feb 21, 2016 9:06 PM (in response to Costa Basil) Currently Being Moderated I had similar problems on 64 bit environments. The solution was to not use the standard compilation setting "Any Cpu" for the project, on 64 bit systems it should be "64 bit" or "32 bit" dependent on your database connection system.Hope it helps, Andreas Alert Moderator Like (0) Re: "An error occurred during this operation" when clicking on the Print button in the WinForms CR Viewer Costa Basil Feb 21, 2016 9:37 PM (in response to Andreas G) Currently Being Moderated Very interesting, thank you. The thing is, it works on the vast majority of the computers. I will give it a try and come back here.
