An Error Occurred During This Operation Reporting Services
The error message comes up"an error occured during this operation" Details: Windows 7 64 bit Professional IE 9. This error has occured on more than one Client pc. I cannot find a common denominator between the occurrences. i have checked the add ons and reset browser settings. Deleted temp an error occurred during this operation ie file files and restarted the spooler service. i have run virus scan and chkdsk /r to try and narrow down the problem. It however appears that all other printing off documents are working fine, the error only comes up when the Client tries to print from any web page within IE9. Please assist asap. Explorer Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now I am working with a client who's only affected programs are IE 11 and Sage 300, which most likely uses some IE component for printing so an error occurred during this operation ie7 I imagine one fix will do it. When printing they just get the error message "An an error occurred during this operation internet explorer error occurred during this operation," and nothing prints. This started when they got back from lunch yesterday. So far I've reset IE settings and deleted an error occurred during directory enumeration personal settings. I've also tried a system restore to several days before the issue occurred. I disabled protected mode for the internet zone. None of these fixed the issue. Any thoughts? Giridhar Raj | Home | About | Contact Us | Disclaimer | Friday, December 2, 2011 "An error occurred during this operation" error when you try to print a SSRS report from Enterprise Portal (EP) website in Internet Explorer 8 Recently, an error For one of our customers we have developed an SSRS report and published it on Enterprise portal using Internet Explorer 8. When trying to print the report we were getting an error message box "An error occurred during this operation"When I tried to google it, I found a support link from Microsoft. The workaround given in the following link has resolved the SSRS an error occurred printing issue. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2445751 The workaround is as follows: To work around this issue, disable the protected mode for theLocal intranetzone and for theTrusted siteszone in Internet Explorer 8. To do this, follow these steps: Run Internet Explorer 8, clickToolson the menu, and then clickInternet Optionsto open theInternet Optionsdialog box. In theInternet Optionsdialog box, click theSecuritytab. On theSecuritytab, click theLocal intranetzone, and then click to clear theEnable Protected Modecheck box. On theSecuritytab, click theTrusted siteszone, and then click to clear theEnable Protected Modecheck box. Thus, the above solution resolves the SSRS report printing issue. Happy DAxing...............
