have been in synchronized state for some months now, but I keep getting these error messages, I checked the permissions and everything is like its supposed to. Timing on both the servers is the same. How can I stop these error messages. But he also pointed out that if you use the fully qualified domain name of the servers you are less likely to run into a name resolution error. UPDATE: When you reset the endpoints, it will take the database offline for the duration of the restart. However, it will not break the mirror. 'Mirroring transport connection endpoint' becauase AlwaysOn uses mirroring type endpoints, i.e. select * from sys.endpoints results: name type_desc Hadr_endpoint DATABASE_MIRRORING As for the problem, try stopping / restarting http://dba.stackexchange.com/questions/86049/mirroring-sql-error-log-error-8474-state-11 the endpoint on the problematic machine. use master GO alter endpoint Hadr_endpoint state = stopped; GO alter endpoint Hadr_endpoint state = started; GO Also check the windows event logs and sql error logs on both servers - it may be a connectivity issue. If your Availability Groups are in a healthy state don't do anything - the error may have been caused by a network (or other!) issue that has now been resolved.
