She's running Windows XP SP3, Office 2003 and is fully patched up and it's affecting all office products, not just excel. As all of the documents she works on contain macros, this is causing her severe difficulty. I have researched for https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/24529615/An-error-occurred-initialising-the-vba-libraries-1004.html 3 days not but cannot find a solution. I have uninstalled and re-installed the VBA tools (uninstalling and reinstalling Access in the process). I have tried a repair, I have checked that her oleaut32.dll is the same as mine. I am thinking that it may be a profile related issue but I don't know. Does anyone have any other suggestions for me? 0 Question by:instem Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Active 6 days ago Best Solution byinstem OK. It's now working. We uninstalled some of our software that utilises Word as part of it's reporting and then gone through the previous user and office removal and re-install and it is now working. Ask Your Own Computer Question Expert: John D replied5 years ago. Hi, I am another expert on this site. If the Repair option given in the above post does not install vba you will need to specifically select VBA from the Excel components list and proceed to install it. Here is a step by step guide that walks through the process http://www.excel-vba.com/vba-excel-install.htmHope this is ok. John,I tried your fix with no success. The VBA button gives 3 choices -- Run from computer, Installed on first use and a RED X Not available.I tried the first two selections to no avail. I no longer get the error message but the screen just flashes and nothing happens. Expert: John D replied5 years ago.
