Try again later” error? up vote 6 down vote favorite I bought my AppleTv a couple of weeks ago (Black Friday) got it set up and running just fine. I've been enjoying Netflix and video podcasts, overall its been great. Then unexpectedly starting sometime yesterday and with increasing frequency today I've been getting the error: An error occurred loading this content. http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/33243/why-appletv-displays-an-error-occurred-loading-this-content-try-again-later-e Try again later. All the videos start playing, and play for usually a minute or more but then stop and that message appears. I can get back to the previous screen and hit play again and it plays the content, again for just a minute or so. I've noticed it with video podcasts, Netflix streaming and Youtube streams. Could this be a problem with the AppleTV or might it be my ISP? Thoughts, solutions appreciated... appletv share|improve this question edited Dec 8 '11 at 18:04 Global nomad 2,5391336 asked Dec 8 '11 at 16:34 Jonathan Miller 2682311 add a comment| 4 Answers 4 active oldest votes up vote 8 down vote accepted If you hold down the Menu button and the down arrow on the remote for 10 sec until the LED on the front of the Apple TV begins to flash. Let go of the buttons and the Apple TV will do a soft reboot. This has been happening to me several times a week and doing this seems to fix the issue. share|improve this answer edited May 2 '12 at 20:49 daviesgeek 16.2k38116176 answered May 1 '12 at 22:48 Buddy 9612 add a comment| up vote 2 down vote I fixed mine by just going back to the stv menu a

In response,Telus increased my Internet speed from 6 to 15 and changed my internet channel to #9 which Apple recommended. The company also sending a serviceman who checked my wiring and single band modem/router, installed a new outdoor box, and declared that my internet was working perfectly. In addition, I persuaded Apple to give me another new Apple TV in case my original device was faulty. They said that in their experience, problems like mine were caused by interference from other WiFi-using devices in the house and neighbourhood. None of the above "fixes" worked.
