the following: $FC_NOOVERWRITE (0) = (default) do not overwrite existing files $FC_OVERWRITE (1) = xcopy overwrite existing files $FC_CREATEPATH (8) = Create destination directory structure if it doesn't exist (See Remarks). Constants are defined in FileConstants.au3. Return Value Success: 1. Failure: 0. Remarks See FileFindFirstFile() for a discussion about wildcards. The destination directory must already exist, except using with flag value $FC_CREATEPATH (8). For instance the combined flag $FC_OVERWRITE (1) + $FC_CREATEPATH (8) overwrites the target file and pre-checks for the destination directory structure and if it doesn't exist creates it automatically. Some file attributes can make the overwriting impossible, if this is the case look at FileSetAttrib() to change the attributes of a file. occur when using Windows Vista or newer. The following Microsoft KB article provides details on how to resolve this:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/934160Safe copy failed. Failed to rename temp file: File does not exist. It has been reported that this error can be caused by anti-virus/anti-malware software on the target device (to which the file is being copied) deleting or quarantining (moving) the file before we can rename it. This is especially likely to apply to executable files (EXE, VBS, etc) whereby the AV detects that property https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/functions/FileCopy.htm from the content despite the anonymous temporary name/extension used by Safe Copy. Switching off Safe Copy viaModify profile > Expert mode > Copy/Delete > Advanced > 'Make safe copies...' may prevent the error (by copying under the 'real' name) but it may be that the AV (etc.) then simply deletes or quarantines the file 'silently' anyway (which may trigger repeated http://support.2brightsparks.com/knowledgebase/articles/214380-safe-copy-failed-to-rename-temp-file re-copies on subsequent runs). If the profile is set to Verify, and any such AV interception occurs, the Verify will likely fail (because the file is no longer there to calculate the hash value thereof, or the hashing is interrupted). If Safe Copy is used, the file is usually hashed under its temporary name (before rename > potential overwrite) - if not, the Verify will of course try to hash the file using its real name.Note: see contextual Help via F1 with Copy/Delete > Advanced settings page open (see above for path to that page) to see why Safe Copy is usually set by default This article was helpful (thinking…) · Flag this article as inaccurate…Flag this article as inaccurate… · Admin → New and returning users may sign in Sign in prestine Your name Your email address Check! invalid email (thinking…) Reset or sign in with UserVoice password Forgot password? The files "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking\Users\< User name >\current\aco.ini" could not be copied to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking\Users\< User name >\tb\aco.ini". Error Details: The File Exists.” Cause: Temporary files created during the use of Dragon NaturallySpeaking are not properly merged into or discarded from the user profile during a “save” operation. This may happen if Dragon NaturallySpeaking is terminated abnormally leaving temporary files in the folder. Solution: To resolve this error please follow these steps to delete the temporary files that have collected: Close Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Open My Computer. Navigate to the following location: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking9\Users\< User name >\ (for Windows XP) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking10\Users\

Failed to write to temporary file" I'm encountering an error when trying to download files with MarketPress. I have tried making adjustments to the htaccess file to force downloads and have my php.ini file set to allow maximum memory usage and long timeouts. The host says it is a "development issue" but I have had this site hosted elsewhere and the large files were able to download. I would be perfectly happy if the link just prompted the user to save the file, but I can't get it to work. Can you offer any advice? Here is the error message I get when the download link "http://www.tc-estore.org.uk/store/products/will-you-get-to-your-destination/?orderid=b5f1c51b9791" is pressed. "Warning: MarketPress was unable to download the file http://tc-estore.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/Content/june2014/WillyougettoyourDestination1606.mp3 for serving as download: Failed to write request to temporary file. in /home/tcestore/public_html/wp-content/plugins/marketpress/marketpress.php on line 4325 Whoops, there was a problem loading up this file for your download. Please contact us for help." I'm in a real bind so any help you could offer would be wonderful. Thanks so much.
