Posted 23 July 2009 - 06:01 PM So I worked a good deal on a flash banner. I finished it up, took a break and when I came back to publish it and prepare it to be sent to my client it woudn't open! i keep getting this an error message in the output: The following Javascript error(s) occurred: In file ""/Users/BiancaLynn/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash CS4/en/Configuration/Javascript/ObjectFindAndSelect.jsfl"": Cannot find file file:////Users/BiancaLynn/Desktop/UM Strad Flash Banner/um_frost.fla. What does that mean?? I'm working in Flash CS4 and I'm very rusty, so I'm not too familiar with it. Does anyone know what the hell went wrong in the few hours I put the file aside? I'm sure it's a simple answer, an error occurred but I'm a newbie. Thanks in advance! Posted 24 July 2009 - 06:09 PM The error is essentially saying that your project can't find the file "Users/BiancaLynn/Desktop/UM Strad Flash Banner/um_frost.fla". So the first thing yous hould do is navigate to that folder and double check that you have the um_frost.fla file in there. If it has been moved or renamed, then the project will need to be updated to reflect the change. My guess is that it has been moved and the project is trying to find that file and can't find it. Do a search through windows explorer if you need to.
