"An error occurred uploading to the iTunes Store" lounatico Posts: 4New Users March 2011 edited April 2012 in Business, Legal, & App Store It's been one week that I'm trying to publish an app and find the following error on Application Loader: "An error occurred uploading to the iTunes Store". I read that maybe the Apple are overloaded. That's true? There's something that I can do to solve my problem? Anyone else experiencing the same? 0 · barumrho Posts: 2New Users April 2012 edited April 2012 Yup. I've been trying http://iphonedevsdk.com/forum/business-legal-app-store/75527-an-error-occurred-uploading-to-the-itunes-store.html to upload a new update since yesterday. I am pretty sure the Java update is the cause, since I see this error in Console. Xcode: Error: Java 1.5, 1.6, or 1.7 is required. Currently, java is the default java version. Please upgrade. Tried installing Application Loader separately, but didn't work either. Also tried reinstalling XCode. 0 · iphonegamedeveloper Posts: 425Registered Users @ @ April 2012 edited April 2012 barumrho wrote: ยป Yup. I've been trying to upload a new update since yesterday. and Xcode 4.4, and all was well until https://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/20408-an-error-occurred-uploading-to-the-itunes-store/ the very last step of the submission process...My app had successfully passed validation via the "Validate..." button in the Organizer window, but when I tried to submit it to the App Store, I got an error the dreaded, unhelpful error message:"An error occurred uploading the app to the iTunes Store".No explanation, nothing else to diagnose the problem. Same thing occurred using the Application Loader. A little googling provided a clue -- this Stack Overflow question pointed to an incompatiblity an error occurred with the current version of Java for OS X, but it referred to Java 1.5 running on Lion. With this clue, I opened up the Java Preferences app (in your /Application/Utilities folder) and found this: Mountain Lion Java Preferences app -- default settings -- causes App Store uploads to fail in Xcode 4.4. I simply rearranged the order to prefer Java SE 6 (1.6 64-bit) first over Java SE 7 (1.7 64-bit), as shown below: I then retried my App Store submission. It worked! Apparently Apple needs to update Application Loader to work with Java 1.7 on 10.8.Hope this tip helps someone else who ran into this problem... Comments are closed. Resume View my resume.
