This can be caused by the presense of Avid Projects or Shared Avid Projects folders on the root level of any attached drives or workspaces. Project folders should not be placed on the root levels of drives. Creating a new folder to place these folders in can resolve this issue. I edited for 15 minutes and I just got the OUT OF MEMORY message once. No Bus Errors so far. Then I connected my external Lacie drives via firewire 800 instead of the eSATA Controller. and it seemes that this helps a little. Posted by Marco Paolini on 05 April 2011 09:43 PM In the Macintosh version of Avid Media Composer 5.5, Avid made some changes to the way they do multi-processing which caused a conflict with Composite Suite Pro and PhotoCopy. We have worked around this issue. Please download and install the latest Macintosh Avid installers from our website for Composite Suite Pro and PhotoCopy.
