When a change is detected, the watch task breaks my 'grunt server' with the following: Running "watch" http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20492056/bus-error-10-on-mac-os-x task Waiting...Bus error: 10 OS X 10.9 DP7 Node 0.10.18 Grunt 0.4.1 Generator-webapp 0.4.2 (didn't change a line in the code so gruntfile etc. are all the defaults) grunt member shama commented Sep 9, 2013 Sounds like an error upstream that will need to be addressed by https://github.com/joyent/libuv (or may have already). We can't fix that error from this plugin so I recommend staying on OSX 10.8 until node catches up. shama closed this Sep 9, https://github.com/gruntjs/grunt-contrib-watch/issues/204 2013 spacenick commented Sep 17, 2013 Got the same issue; OS X 10.8.5 Running "watch" task Bus error: 10 grunt member shama commented Sep 17, 2013 @spacenick Oh really? Which version of node.js? spacenick commented Sep 17, 2013 Oops yea sorry, node v0.10.18 grunt-cli v0.1.9 grunt v0.4.1 grunt member shama commented Sep 17, 2013 Thanks! Still nothing we can likely do to fix that from here. I haven't ran into this issue and I'm on the same setup. If you can, creating a test repo that recreates the error would be much helpful. It was helpful in tracking down this previous watch error: nodejs/node-v0.x-archive#5463 spacenick commented Sep 17, 2013 Thanks @shama varju commented Sep 24, 2013 @spacenick Thanks; I assumed this was a 10.9 issue. Downgrading to node 0.10.17 fixed this for me. neekey commented Oct 5, 2013 Same issue with OSX 10.9, simple watch some .scss files and to compile them with grunt-contrib-compass but once file change is detected, it just crashed down: $ grunt watch Running "watch" task Waiting...OK >> File "src/common/style/_common.scss" changed. Quote Postby HandBrake » Tue Sep 06, 2016 6:17 pm This is just a quick notice to let everyone know that we are currently transitioning away from Trac.Trac (https://trac.handbrake.fr) is the tool that we have used for our wiki, bus error svn and git timelines, issue tracking and roadmap for many years but it no longer fits our requirements. Since moving to GibHub, all our issue tracking, roadmap and code history has been working well from there. As such, Trac has become largely redundant for us and is more a burdon to bus error 10 maintain and keep up to date. Using GitHub not only makes it easier for people to contribute, it allows us to spend more time working on HandBrake and less time worying about infrasturcture and hosting. In the coming month the final part, the wiki will be transitioned completely away. trac.handbrake.fr will rediect to the new documentation (currently in beta).New URL's:Documentation: https://handbrake.fr/docsDevelopment Timeline: GitHubIf you have any questions, please feel free to raise a question in the General forum. For the Stream Video Player for WordPress I use FFmpeg to encode the video to a FLV/MP4 video, using H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec, this video format it's supported for Flash Player since version 9.0.115.0 that was released on December 3, 2007 and today almost all videos YouTube serve are on that very same format, I also use FLVMeta to include FLV's metadata inside the video. FFmpeg it's one of the best video tools I found on the web, its open source and it's hard to find in a compiled form, because I know the hard to have a good compilation I decided to make this binary kits available so you have an easy way to have FFmpeg on your PC. BinKit 2.0 Download BinKit v2.0 for Windows Download BinKit v2.0 for Mac OS X Intel Download BinKit v2.0 for GNU Linux Ubuntu, Debian, Mint. This new version of the BinKit do not need to be installed on your system, just unzip on your desktop, to use it check this very short and concise screencasts: Use BinKit v2.0 on Windows You need to install or upgrade Flash Player to view this content, install or upgrade by clicking here. Important information All the video presets are designed for 29.97 frame rate video just as it is NTSC, you can change this setting editing the .BAT or .SH file, in fact you can change the bitrate, video size, audio channels and audio bitrate as many other options. It is also important to know that almost any video can be encoded with this script thanks to FFmpeg viability to read any format, but your input file has to have only one video track and only one audio track and the audio track has to have up to 2 audio channels, Flash Player can playback up to 2 audio channels. Check the “readme.txt” file inside the BinKit v2.0 Skip video encoding for MP4 or M4V files If you already have a MP4 or M4V video encoded and you don't want to reencode your video, you can convert it (remux) to an injected FLV video without reencoding saving time and quality, notice that your video has to have the following specs: H.264 video encodBus Error 10 Gulp
