When looking at the report, the formula generating the error message was in the format:= {Tablename.Fieldname1}/{Tablename.Fieldname2}When creating formulas, that use a division operator, it is always advisable to consider the possibility that the demoninator field value may be zero:To get around this problem, the formula was modified to:=IF {Tablename.Fieldname2} = 0 THEN 0ELSE {Tablename.Fieldname1}/{Tablename.Fieldname2} 1 Comments 1Julie Jackson08JuneTHANK YOU!MAKE A COMMENTName *Email Address *Comment *

In my report the condition is as below. 1 / If isnull(Count({Table.Ordernumber})) then 0 else(Count({Table.Ordernumber})). In this Count(Table.Ordernumber) is not null but still it is taking as 0 in IF Condition and not going to Else Condition. In database ordernumber has got values and it always should go to division by zero else condition. The report which is scheduled is always getting failed. Please someone help me with this IF Condition. Thanks for the help in advance. This will fix it. If isnull(Count({Table.Ordernumber})) then 0 else(1 / Count({Table.Ordernumber})). this way, if the null condition is true, then the value is 0, and the fractional measurement only comes to pass if there is a number in your denominator.
