a BI report or package Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) Error encountered when attempting to import data from a BI report or package: AAA-AUT-0013 The user is already http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21632805 authenticated in all available namespaces Symptom In Cognos Insight, the following error is encountered when attempting to import data from a BI report or package via Get Data -> Import Data once the user is already authenticated: AAA-AUT-0013 The user is already authenticated in all available namespaces Typically a user opens Cognos Insight, clicks Get Data -> Import Data, and then selects either 'IBM cognos error Cognos Report Data' or 'IBM Cognos Package Data' on the Select Data Source screen of the Import Data wizard. The BI server gateway URI is placed in the IBM Cognos BI Server Address field, and the 'Select...' button is clicked to bring up the Cognos BI namespace authentication window. The user successfully logs in and is able to import data from a Cognos Report or cognos error aaa Package. The error is encountered when these steps are repeated to perform a second data import. When the 'Select...' button is clicked, the AAA-AUT-0013 error appears. Resolving the problem Configure the "Domain" and "Path" cookie values on the BI server. Steps: 1. Logon to the IBM Cognos BI server (being referenced in the Cognos Insight Data Import Wizard) 2. Launch "Cognos Configuration" 3. Click "Actions -> Edit Global Configuration" 4. Select the "General" tab. 5. Assign 'Domain' and 'Path' values that will identify this BI server instance. The Domain value is taken from the fully qualified domain name of the BI server The Path value is the Cognos virtual directory. For example, if your BI server URL is cognosprod.mydomain.com/ibmcognos Domain = .mydomain.com (Notice the '.' at the beginning of the value) Path = /ibmcognos 6. Save changes (inside 'Cognos Configuration') 7. Restart Cognos services.
