When we tried again an hour ago..keep getting this message:Communication Error. Connection Lost. and we couldnt play together. Is there a way to fix this w/o setting our routers using DMZ?thanksUser Info: FuuinashiFuuinashi 8 years ago#2It happened to me yesterday, randomly during a Merc match. After that, it wouldn't let me do anything online in RE5 anymore. All I did was reboot the console, go to Network settings, and run the Internet Connection setting process again to reestablish parameters, and the problem was fixed.PSN: Fuuinashi (Looking for good Merc players)Mercenaries Stats: Solo- 23 S Ranks / 2 SS Ranks // Duo- 5 S Ranks / 35 SS RanksUser Info: Cyberbunni3Cyberbunni3 8 years ago#3Sometimes I get this even when im not even playing with anybody, lols.[ PSN : sinodaxadonis ][: ilovebeyonce :]User Info: fake_Hippyfake_Hippy 8 years ago#4if you use a wireless connection, don't. i hate people who use wireless connections.PSN: Hippy7 User Info: Gryma

I am in NOrth America. East Coast.Had this problem for the last two days. It worked fine the first day I got it though. Then something happened and I can no longer play co-op online with my friend. I was playing Resistance 2 earlier today with zero problems. Then I went to play RE 5 and I had the exact same problem as the above poster.I play on a PS3 and I had a Nat 2 connection (through a router) and could not connect to my friend who had a wireless connection a NAT 3. Then I went to a NAT 1 (plugging my PS3 directly to my modem) then I was able to connect for almost exactly ten minutes then I would get an error. I would then get

I can join other people's games, but not his. Anyone know what is up? If so, then you need to make sure the following ports are open: TCP 80 TCP 443 TCP 5223 UDP 3478 UDP 3479 UDP 3658 That should fix the problem. If you don't have a router, then I'm not sure what the problem is. Hope this helps. Also, it happens on and off, sometimes I can join friends requests, sometimes I cant. I can always join random people games though..... Just started happening after the patch for RE5. View My Profile Communication error, connection lost ? Hey ive noticed that while im playing that this message comes up about two times per chapter. Just wondering if this is happening to others and if so why is it happening. I have only invite friends enabled and im just wondering if its people trying to join my game but cant because of this. If anyone knows let me know cuz this prevented me from getting chapter 2 part 2 achievement for some reason. __________________ JRJ3 x360a View Public Profile Send a private message to JRJ3 x360a Find More Posts by JRJ3 x360a 03-16-2009, 04:56 AM #2 santanaonfire Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: IL Posts: 16 View My Profile I've had the error message, but I don't know why. I pressed the guide button and I was still signed on to XBL. I tried to play with a friend earlier today, and my connection was freaking out, and booted him, but that's not when it gave that error. I was in single player then. santanaonfire View Public Profile Send a private message to santanaonfire Find More Posts by santanaonfire Bookmarks Digg del.icio.us StumbleUpon Google Addthisto Furl Yahoo This Technorati « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switch to Hybrid Mode Switch to Threaded Mode Posting Rules You m
