Is this what should be tested? Port 9100 for "Standard TCP/IPport monitor" (RAW)"I don't think it is about SMB / RPC ports as the network printer is not aWindows OS. Am I wrong in saying so?Thanks and sor

Everything was going fine when printing to the printer today, then all of a sudden it would not printer communication error print. I have tried everything. I went to check the printer display screen and no error was displayed, I pressed the printer's self test option and it printed, I then checked for paper stuck, checked for low ink messages, deleted and added the printer via printer wizarddownloaded universal driver and tried to detect the printer, which it does 192.168.1.73I even ping that address and no packets lost or dropped.I went up to the printer and manually changed the address to try againTurn the printer off, even taking the network cable out and the power connecter for the printer.Tried to print from other machines.Checked DHCP off the router to see if it even gave an IP to the network printer. What else can i try? The printer can print via self test, but i just cannot connect to the printer.I am just hours away from phoning tech support, but I think its a network issue or perhaps a faulty or corrupted NIC on the printer. When i go to the lexmark printer properties, i try to run a command to see if I can connect, its called "ask printer". All I get is "Could not ask printer due to a communications error".What can anyone here suggest I do? What
