Tsscan Communication Failed Please Check Client Installation
Communication Error A client communication error has occurred. Please check if you have the TSPrint Client installed. This error can also show up if you are using third party RDP client or server. Please contact our tsscan support support department for more help. Quick Steps 1.) If you are currently on your remote desktop server log out and on your local workstation go to: http://www.terminalworks.com/help 2.) Once on your client machine download the client installation package for the product you are using: If you are using TSPrint download the TSPrint client:: TSPrint Client Download Version: 2.0.8.0 Windows EXE (2000,XP,Vista,7,8,Embedded) Windows MSI (2000,XP,Vista,7,8,Embedded) Mac OS X (10.6) Mac OS X (10.7 tsprint license expired and newer) Linux (rdesktop 64 bit) Linux (rdesktop 32 bit) Download If you are using TSScan download the TSScan client: TSScan Client Download Version: 2.9.1.7 Windows EXE (2000,XP,Vista,7,8,Embedded) Windows MSI (2000,XP,Vista,7,8,Embedded) Mac OS X (10.7) Mac OS X (10.8 and newer) Download 3.) Make sure all remote desktop connections are closed. Start the installation of the downloaded package. Follow the onscreen instruction of the installation. 4.) Once the installation is finished reconnect to your remote desktop server and try to print or scan again. The connection pins are bent on either the controller and or generator. Flip the breaker OFF to all the components (generator, the Light & Music system or Solitude WiFi Module (SWM) if applicable) Disconnect and reconnect all the yellow data connections communication error verifying that pins are lined up correctly and are not damaged. Hand tight the connection then "push-in" the cable attachment bracket slightly more to assure the connection. PLEASE NOTE: The cables are “keyed” and they need to line up accordingly Once you verified received communication error the yellow data connection flip the breaker ON for the generator then within 10 seconds flip the breaker ON for Light & Music system followed by SWM if applicable.
