Solution DescriptionWhy is this happening: The company file is being opened in a later version or a later file revision (QuickBooks 2009) or later and the User Name used to log into the file is not the Admin user. How to fix the issue: Open the file in the correct version Log into company file needs the file as the Admin user to convert the company file. Detailed Instructions: Open the file in the correct version Click OK to the message. Hover over the company file's icon OR right-click on the company file, select Properties, and then click the QuickBooks tab to determine the version that last opened the company file.
