Craxdrt Error Occured On E1
Occured" Windows Server > Server Manager Question 0 Sign in to vote We have recently setup Window Server 2003 SP2 (IIS V6.0) with Crystal Report 8.5 installed. All things working well for report viewer in internet browser, but only the problem is when user trying to export report to a file (CR/word/rich text/etc format) will hit the error:CRAXDRT Error Occurred on Server. 507 : An exception occurredOnly option is click "OK" to continue... Well, so we just click "OK" and try again... Note that, for second tried onward will hit another error:CRAXDRT Error Occurred on Server. 70 : Permission deniedIt was annoying us as export crystal report to a file is the major part for our daily operation. We have search over the intranet and there are so many similar cases but without a clear direction where this error was hitted. In addition, I have done some permission setting between my website in IIS and CR Viewer, i.e. shared viewer to the website, set permission of viewer to allow access of anonymous intranet user... unfortunately still can't work...Look forward to experienced to share the solution/opinion. Thanks! I am afraid that I have to say that we are not the best resource. You may refer to the following KB article find the technical support of Crysta

It https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/21234dbe-eb80-4d90-8252-5f5ee3408727/crystal-report-viewer-error-craxdrt-error-occured-on-server-507-an-exception-occured?forum=winservermanager is written in VB6 (Com object) and ASP pages. When a user runs a report (uses CR8) on the W2000/IIS5 server, they are able to use the export report button on the generated report and export to various formats (mapi, work, excel, rtf), but on the W2003SP1/IIS6 server, when the user clicks on the Export icon and enters a filename and export type, Export Report generates error "CRAXDRT Error Occured on Server. 507: An exception occurred ". If they attempt https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21699653/Export-Report-generates-error-CRAXDRT-Error-Occured-on-Server-507-An-exception-occurred.html the export a second time on the same report, then a "CRAXDRT Error Occured on Server. 70: Permission denied " is displayed. I can get the Export Report function to work if I set IIS6 into IIS5 Isolation mode and split the COM object into a Server app and Application app. This is not the way I need to have the application setup... I know there were some major changes required when IIS6 was introduced. Since Crystal has dropped support for CR8 you may be out of luck. mlmcc 0 Message Author Comment by:QSI-Inc2006-01-19 No suggestions... Where does CR8 create the temp report files for the export function? Where do the export dlls run? On the web server or on the client? 0 LVL 100 Overall: Level 100 Crystal Reports 94 Message Active today Accepted Solution by:mlmcc2006-01-19 I don't know since I don't use web based reporting. I believe most of i
ASP to send a parameter to the report which then tells the report which records to select (basically its a dynamic 'where' clause like many people do). I am using the ActiveX http://exceptionin.com/q/craxdrt-error-507-when-exporting-to-excel viewer and the report comes up fine. I get the 'CRAXDRT error occured on Server 507: Exception occured' error when I try to export the report to excel. If i try again the error changes to 70: permission denied I have looked up all over to try to solve this problem. Ive done the default values solution to this problem from businessobjects site but that does not fix it. ive also messed around with some craxdrt error of the possible permission fixes and none of those worked either. I CAN get some of the sample reports to work which use access and they export to excel fine. Ive also been able to get the export to excel to work with some of the samples that use SQL Server as well. If i take the subreport out of my rpt file (suppress it), the export to excel works fine then too. I craxdrt error occured have default values set like i said. The main report is passing the parameter it gets from the ASP Code to the subreport so it can use it as well. 11answers craxdrt error permission 507 Comments See all(0) Cancel Edit Add comment Anonymous 0 August 16, 2011 You should be able to use the parameter to link the main report to the subreport or use the field the main report compares to. The linking field works much as a selection formula thus eliminating much of the need for selection formulas in subreports. Open the report Right click on the subreport Click CHANGE SUBREPORT LINKS Select the main report field ( or the parameter) Select the appropriate field in the subreport CHange the subreport to eliminate the parameter in the selection formula. mlmcc Comments See all(0) Add comment Anonymous 0 August 16, 2011 Is the code also logging into the subreport? How are you exporting? Through code or the export button on the viewer? Does the export work from the viewer? mlmcc Comments See all(0) Add comment Anonymous 0 August 16, 2011 Im exporting through the viewer. The export works from the viewer on those samples i mentioned and if i take out the subreport. I dont understand what you mean is the code also logging in to the subreport. Right now i hav
