Craxdrt Error Occured On Server
- IIS 5)I get the message CRAXDRT Error Occured on Server. -2147190908 : Failed to export the report. I have no problem exporting to Crystal 8, Crystal 7, MS Word, RFT formats. (PDF give me an invalid type error which I would like to fix, but not important at this time!!!). When I change to smartviwerJava I have no problem exporting to any of the available formats. I have seen http://support.crystaldecisions.com/library/kbase/articles/c2010602.asp but it has not provided any answers. The report contains no parameters. I have tried this on a variety of servers all with the same results. I even have the same problem with the samples provided from Crystal. I also have no problem when i use the Crystal Web Interface (For lack of a proper term aka http://servername/reportname.rpt) The report open in the active X viwer, and I can export to excel with no problem. The problem seem confined to the smartvieweractivex / ASP combo!!! Please help me from going bald!!! Thanks Code below (PS I removed userid and Password!!!) It is a COM+ configuration issue. We solved it using these steps: 1 - Find the COM+ package where the components 'CREmfgen.CREmfgen.1' and 'CrystalRuntime.Application.8' are installed; Check that the package is configured as 'Library'. Remove both components from the package. 2 - Create a new package, configured as 'Server'; 3 - Uncheck 'enforce access checks for this application'. 4 - Add the components 'CREmfgen.CREmfgen.1' and 'CrystalRuntime.Application.8' to the package you've just created. The paths are (usually): C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Shared\Emfgen.dll C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Report Designer Component\craxdrt.dll Hope this helps. share|improve this answer answered Feb 8 '13 at 18:14 Marcos Brigante 625619 Yes this answer did worked for me too.. –L.W.C.
