Hi, When those things happen are usually because the VirtualBox hypervisor crashed, so you can send those LOG files to the VirtualBox people. For the project, the best thing that you can do is to abort the WU, and request a new one. If this happens again, then check your VirtualBox installation, sometimes Windows does not install correctly the driver, and that's why it fails. I participate in lhc@home (http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/) and some other projects that just need boinc client to run. I managed to install and use virtualBox but it's too intrusive and a resource hog (and I'm moving to Windows 8). If you ever make it run like other boinc tasks I'll rejoin.ID: 12628 · Rating: 0 · rate: / Reply Quote Daniel Lombraña GonzálezVolunteer moderatorProject administratorProject developerProject testerProject scientistSendmessage Joined: 10 Nov 10Posts: 1661Credit: 566RAC: 0 Message 12717 - Posted: 1 Nov 2012, 10:10:44 UTC - in response to Message 12628. Hi, Don't worry, we know that this project is a bit special and it will not fit everywhere and everyone :-) We need to use the virtualization layer because otherwise we will not be able to run the complex simulations in your computer. We are running some tests with a new wrapper that will solve most of the problems, so if you want to know how everything is going, check the project in a few weeks and hopefully you can try again :-) In any case, thanks a lot for your support until now!
