My colleague gave me his connection information (the password is empty): User: kasxxxx Host: sftpe.xxxx logon type: Normal Protocol: SFTP - SSH Transfer Protocol I have set the same configuration in Filezilla, but when I try to connect, I get: Error: Authentication failed. Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect to server When I try with sftp from a Terminal, I get: 530 Login authentication failed Login failed. Why does it work with my colleague and not me? Having SFTP without password is usually not allowed and if so it is really bad idea.
