Otherwise, a message should show up in the corner of the screen when you make the request, he has to accept it. User Info: txrebel1013 txrebel1013 - 6 years ago Answers This has been happening to me as well but I know the issueTry playing a different game with him and if it has similar issues (Lag, bad connection) that would be the problem, the game demands pristine connection.i.e. http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/957985-dead-rising-2/answers/229607-error-on-co-op-mode my friend in san francisco can't play with me while I'm at my house in san jose. User Info: Vorlanthir Vorlanthir - 6 years ago 0 1 Co-op and Multiplayer bugs have been floating around. If the main Chuck in co-op saves the game, the co-op partner gets booted. User Info: MadMan117 MadMan117 - 6 years ago 0 1 It's the same problem I have with the game, and it's not something as simple as what Vorlanthir suggests. Since my roommate and I played Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 just the day before online and didn't have any problems, but with DR2 we can't even connect in the first place to experience lag or disconnects. And it's not a problem with multiplayer connecting, cause we can connect to random stranger games just fine. It's just we can't connect to each other. I'm both glad and disappointed to know that I'm not the only one having this problem though. A friend and I wanted to play it for a while. So we both got it during the sale. I'm at his house now, and every time we try to play co-op, it says it failed to connect. This seems like a very half-assed attempt on Capcom's part to dead rising add co-op. It doesn't even say joining game when you try to connect to your friend, it says "attempting to join", as if it is expecting to fail... Anyone have any solutions? We're tired of messing with router settings to get this to work. We shouldn't even have to go so far out of our way to get this crap running... It still gives that issue. Trying a new router today. Both of us have GFWL (but I'm not paying for a gold account). But the point is that this was terribly executed on Capcom's part. I have never had this much issue with any other co-op game. You would think that since this is basically a remake of Dead Rising 2, they would have fixed these errors. And I dunno who the genius was who decided not to include local co-op. Brilliant idea, there. Also, I can't connect to your link.
