Ever gotten this error http://www.berryreview.com/2009/05/07/faq-microsd-card-corruption-requires-disk-error-checking-utility/ after unplugging your BlackBerry from your computer? A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer. My first reaction when I got this error was “CRAP what about all my pictures!” Then I realized it is a simple as plugging your BlackBerry into your PC and running CheckDisk to fix the errors. Some of you may not have realized that so I thought I would share. Plug your BlackBerry into a Windows computer and turn on mass storage mode if it is not already turned on Open My Computer. Right-click the appropriate Removable Disk. Click Tools, and then click Check Now. Select Automatically fix file system errors, and then click Start. Things should work just fine after that! At least it worked the last two times I got this error. Not sure if there is a way to do this on a Mac but let me know! I personally think it sucks that RIM cannot just include the disk checking utility on your BlackBerry since your only option from the device is to format it completely and lose your data… Tags: Contains ErrorsDisk CheckingError CheckingMicroSD Card Previous Post Free Harley Davidson Storm Theme Next Post JConverter 2.0: Free App Gets a Facelift For OS 4.6.1+ Devices Share this article

How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP Alternately, formatting the card might work, but I'm not sure. Is this a new card? __________________ Report spam text messages to 7726 #BlackBerry by choice Offline « Obama and the Blackberry | Daily Planner Software » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Email this Page Posting Rules You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts vB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is On HTML code is OffTrackbacks are On Pingbacks are On Refbacks are On Maintained Rocker Switch, Power First, 2LND1$4.32 Limit Switch Head, 600VAC/250VDC, Honeywell Micro Switch, BZV6-2RN18$71.69 SMC Pressure Switch NZL112-E65L - P23$35.98 4pc Red Toggle Switch DPDT ON-OFF-ON Guitar Amp PCB 6P$6.5 1PC Siemens push button switch auxiliary contact 3SB3400-0B$9.06 Copyright 2004-2016 BlackBerryForums.com.
