I mount the ISO as virtual media in iLO, boot up with https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=768763 "...standard installer" and eventually receive the boot failed error. I don't get as far as the yellow installer. My machine is a HP DL360 G6. I have 4 internal SAS disks.Does anyone know what could be causing this, any recommendations? Thanks,Christian 8639Views Tags: none (add) driveContent tagged with drive, isolinuxContent tagged with isolinux, 42b4Content tagged with 42b4, 9fContent tagged with 9f This content has been marked as final. Can you mount the ISO to another server or your local machine to check that its intact? What's your ilo network conectivity like? If it's mounted over a slow connection then you may get that kind of issue. Thanks Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 2. FYI i am using gigEthernet. Thanks for your help, problem solved!Christian Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 4. Re: isolinux: Disk error 80, AX... SchweinShen Apr 22, 2013 8:15 PM (in response to christian17072) Encountered similar problem, and turns out to be the HP iLO may disconnect the local ISO image, so what I did was to keep the virtual media configuration always on, and the ISO file always show connected. I have tried re-burning the image at a lower write speed and with a different burning tool but the same error occurs each time. I've also tried with two different CD writers (to burn and to boot on). My system has a floppy drive in it and so this is all enabled in bios. Turning this off didn't help either. Any idea what might be causing it to fail? isolinux disk error Would appreciate any pointers on this. Thanks, James Top SlingShot Post subject: Posted: Fri Dec 29, 2006 5:09 am Joined: Thu Dec 28, 2006 6:19 amPosts: 3 Just to add some extra strangeness to this problem, I just tried the disk on a totally different PC and got the same error but with a disk error 20 code. Could this be a burning issue (though I've used two different burning programs and tried different burners.. weirddddd). Top baronvonfoxbat7734 Post subject: Posted: Fri Dec 29, 2006 6:11 am Joined: Thu Sep 29, 2005 5:44 amPosts: 90 What apps did you use to burn? I would reciommend if you have not used it IMGBURN. It is free and is a very small download. It is the best app I have seen for people who get confused how to work with ISO's and even for the more advanced as all it does is work with ISO's. There is no confusion in using it. This cuold also be something completely differant and I may have given the wrong advice. I am not sure about the isolinux errors... Did you modify the disk or leave it in it's ISO form and burn the ISO? Was the download a complete download
