Acrobat X latest update is 10.1.10. Almir R V Santos Edit Answer (for another -11 minute) First let me state that this is my solution on a Macintosh running 10.7.5 and Acrobat Pro X (with all the latest updates). This problem started for me just this last weekend. I have been to every so-called solution that I could find via a Google search and NONE of these "solutions" even by the self-tagged "experts" work. PERIOD!I decided to follow one suggestion to install Acrobat Pro 9. However, instead of uninstalling Acrobat Pro X first, I left it installed.During the initial startup of Acrobat 9 after installation I was offered the option of installing an Extra feature called Adobe PDF Printer which allows me to "Crea

I created a pdf by scanning a piece of sheet music on my Canon scanner. Opened it in Inkscape. Added (i.e. pasted) two images which I copied from MS Paint. Saved the result as a pdf (using all drawing error default options). But when I open the saved file Adobe says a drawing error has occurred. Even if I open the scanned image and make no changes and save the file as a 1.4 version file I get the same error. I know nothing about pdf architecture (or Inkscape). Would one, or some combination, of the pdf saving options (e.g.. "Convert texts to paths") help? I absolutely need a pdf file saved as drawing error occurred my goal is to use the resulting pdf file in an iPad app which requies pdf files. Thanks much for any assistance anyone is willing to provide.Bob Top brynn Posts: 8707 Joined: Wed Sep 26, 2007 4:34 pm Location: western USA Contact: Contact brynn Website Re: Adobe says "A drawing error occurred" Quote Postby brynn » Sun Jul 12, 2015 6:08 am Which Adobe product is giving you this error message? (On windows and especially 64 bit version there is a known bug.) Test the pdf if inkscape can re-open it, without an error. If the pdf itself doesn't look good/doesn't open, would suggest to try a previous release. Pdf save options should not relate to the problem as you described. Top bob12603 Posts: 8 Joined: Sun Jul 12, 2015 5:30 am Re: Adobe says "A drawing error occurred" Quote Postby bob1
