Error is [0x80070057-00000000-00000000] This is when he is trying to send a meeting request both to internal and external users and it gives that error for all recipients. I've tried the outlook /cleanprofile and the outlook /cleanfreebusy switches to see if that would help, but

didn't. I also tried copying the appdata/outlook folder and did not help either so i was wondering if there is anything else you know of to do short of wiping the profile and starting from scratch? one that I found worked this week. A colleague at work 0x80070057-0x000501 was attempting to send a meeting request but repeatedly received errors from our Microsoft Exchange server for one error 0x80070057-0x80070057-0x000501 of the recipients. Everything seemed fine and the contacts were correctly populated from the contacts cache. Sending the request met with no resistance from Outlook which made things rather confusing. https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/249775-meeting-request-error-is-0x80070057-00000000-00000000-with-outlook-2007 Well, it seems the contacts cache in Outlook ended up the culprit and the way the problem was resolved was deleting the contacts as they appeared in the autofill list as you typed out a name. You do this by clicking the X at the end of the row containing the erroneous contact and entering it from scratch. Once the http://mingersoft.com/blog/2013/10/meeting-request-error-0x80070057-00000000-00000000-in-microsoft-outlook/ updated meeting request was sent there were no more errors – hurrah! VSE ePO General Google Chrome OS Uncategorized UPS Backup Exec Calendar sharing is not available with the following entries because of permission settings on yournetwork January 8, 2013 Leave a comment A user came up to me this morning and informed me that they couldn’t share their calendar with a colleague, as they keep getting the error message “Calendar sharing is not available with the following entries because of permission settings on your network.” Basic troubleshooting steps showed that this issue is simular to error is 0x80070057-00000000-00000000 and all that was really required to resolve it was to select the person from the GAL (Global Address List) rather then typing it in manually. Another factor involved was that this colleague hadn't been updated in the users Offline Address Book and this was the reason for typing in the email address in the first place. This was resolved by simply downloading the updates to the GAL. @PCVirus_AU Titan Solutions Filed under Exchange 2010, Microsoft, Outlook Tagged with Calendar Sharing, Exchange 2010, Microsoft, Outlook 2010 Mobile Phone Dynamic DistributionGroup November 17, 2012 Leave a comment The other day, the boss came to me and asked me to setup a distribution list for everyone who has a company issued phone. GREAT, I don’t want to manage this distribution list. Luckily for me, only users who have been issued company phones have their mobile numbers in Active Directory, so off to PowerShell I go. All I need to do is create a dynamic distribution group, which with the GUI in Exchange 2010 is pretty limited, so as previously mentioned, I’ll have to use PowerShell. Unlike regular distribution groups that contain a defined set of members, the membership list for dynamic distribution groups is calculated each time a message is sent to the group, based on the filters and conditions that you define. When an email message is sent to a dynamic distribution group, it’s delivered to all recipients in the organization that match the criteri
