Appears to be working ok when doing a send/receive but then comes up with message, relating to an internal error and suggests checking with isp if it continues. Will not receive emails.Outlook was working ok with Noton IS 2010 previously. any advice would be appreciated. Last edited by fax; June 1st, 2010 at 06:09 AM. with e-mail scan on, the symptoms include: Outgoing messages are sent Incoming hangs on Outlook Sometimes it offers the option to disable the BitDefender add-in but diasabling it makes no difference BitDefender message sometimes displayed that it is scanning incoming https://www.zonealarm.com/forums/showthread.php/74373-SOLVED-Outlook-2007-Error-code-is-0x800ccc90-gt-AV-software-issue mail but gets no further The fault does not always occur The only solution is to disable the scanning of incoming e-mails. Then they arrive without issue - although possibly infected!! Also running BitDefender 2010 on two Widows 7 PC's with no problem at all. Only other oddity is that BitDefender does not show up in the notification area of the Task Bar - and no part of BitDefender is set to only show when not idle or any other https://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?/topic/20460-0x800ccc90-error-bd-2010-outlook-2007-and-xp/ restriction. It simply does not show up at all. Any ideas will be gratefully received. I shall be reluctant to run interminable diagnostics since it is an intermittent error, needs large mails and I have already wasted over 4 hours determining the work around.
