Outlook 2003 can't receive POP3 email Started by tlinnj , Apr 20 2011 10:47 AM Please log in to reply 4 replies to this topic #1 tlinnj tlinnj Members 2 posts OFFLINE Local time:03:06 PM Posted 20 April 2011 - 10:47 AM Until recently my Outlook email worked just fine. The other day I began to receive many duplicate emails. I deleted my account from Outlook and re-entered all of the information. I ran a test email which seemed to pause on the "Log onto incoming mail server" but then it showed completed. I have re-entered the email account data many times and keep getting the following error:

I deleted and then added my email accounts but that didn't work. I bought RegCure to repair any Windows Registry defective files, but that did not work. Any suggestions? I rather not uninstall Outlook since I will lose all of my email, and I don't know if that would solve the problem. Outlook will send email out, just not receive. When it does receive, it just keeps receiving in the same 4 or 5 emails over and over again. I tried my Outlook Express, and it has the same problem. Thanks for any help. Julie.
