Windows Service Error 1053 Immediately
Sign in to vote Hello, i am dealing with a problem since more than
Error 1053 Windows 7 64 Bit
a week and i tried every single solution i found on the net but nothing's working. I got some win services that error 1053 windows 7 itunes do not launch (on startup and manually). I see a 1053 error in eventLog for 3 services (and got 1053 pop-up when i launch it manually) -spooler (print) -hamachi -interactive service detection (maybe this one is https://support.threattracksecurity.com/support/solutions/articles/1000071019-error-1053-the-service-did-not-respond-in-a-timely-fashion-when-attempting-to-start-stop-or-pause causing the 2 others problem) i already installed all latest windows updates, i ran scans, anti malware, checkdisk, uninstalled a lot of programs, but the problem still exists. Thoses services launched succesfully on rare cases, but i don t know why (for exemple it worked just after the reboot when i uninstalled office but when i reboot again it's broken) Wednesday, January 23, 2013 1:10 PM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/50708087-7558-4789-9222-f795da5d6ee8/error-1053-on-launching-windows-service?forum=w7itprogeneral in to vote Hi, Please check to see if theresolutionin this KB is helpful. I also tried to uninstall/install several times my printer pilotes or hamachi software. Yesterday, my pc crashed and when i rebooted i had my 2 services working (i still have the error about interactive service detection in eventLogs), but if i reboot again, the problem is the same. I also tried to disable all but my 2 services using msconfig + reboot but the problem was still here. I can put my eventLogs in there if u want Thursday, January 24, 2013 9:24 AM Reply | Quote 1 Sign in to vote Hello Not sure if this will help, but, worth a try. I wrote a Service which, in Debug conditions, perfectly error 1053 windows works. This means I debug by having my static void Main() as following: #if(!DEBUG) ServiceBase[] ServicesToRun; ServicesToRun = new ServiceBase[] { new TRAservice() }; ServiceBase.Run(ServicesToRun); #else TRAservice Service = new TRAservice(); Service.CanHandlePowerEvent = false; Service.CanHandleSessionChangeEvent = false; Service.CanPauseAndContinue = true; Service.CanShutdown = true; Service.CanStop = true; Service.ServiceName = "TRAservice"; Service.AutoLog = false; Service.SetMethod(); Service.TRAmethod(); #endif To do some implementation testing, I added a ProjectInstaller and I install my service via the VStools cmd prompt, installutil servicename.exe. (For reference, I include the constructor of the service with the OnStart in the bottom of this post.) However, when I then try to START the service, I get the following error: In my event viewer I get 4 messages (2 information (Windows error reports), 2 errors): I have tried a lot of things, including, but not limited to, removing the debug lines out of the constructor (as elsewhere suggested), rebooting, installing from Release (instead of Debug)... I will take any suggestion to fix this problem. Thanks in advance. public TRAservice() { InitializeComponent(); CanHandlePowerEvent = false; CanHandleSessionChangeEvent = false; C

This happens often when the computer user deletes programs and files, trying to gain hard drive space and speed Dec 5
