Edit pages in project like normal. Go to use FTP to publish pages. Can get to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-networking/error-code-12031/8f895b27-d8f6-4397-bd48-9a01ecdb0c19 remote server (GoDaddy) - no issue. Go to publish and get Error (12031): The connection with the server was reset.Obviously, this occurs on every file, every image, etc. and nothing gets published. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thanks -- KenPosts: 28|Registered: November 14, 2012 IP Ken PWorking Mechanic posted June http://virtualmechanics.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8296057891/m/3077048136 30, 2013 06:16 PMHide PostFYI -- For those of you who have this issue, talked with GoDaddy today and found out that some browsers may not be supported. I downloaded FileZilla -- published my project locally -- transferred the files using FileZilla - and bingo! Worked like a charm. And for SiteSpinner -- you need to know that Windows Preview 8.1 and IE11 are not working with your FTP piece in the software-- FYI. joined Oct. 2008I sure hope someone can help me with this. I used to play games on msn, without any problem. I shut down my laptop for 5 days while on http://www.datehookup.com/thread-174117.htm vacation and when I came back, I can't get into msn games. When I ran a diagnostic test, I got this reading: Last diagnostic run time: 10/19/08 22:32:44 Network Adapter Diagnostic Network location detection info Using home Internet connection info Redirecting user to support call info Redirecting user to support call HTTP, HTTPS, FTP Diagnostic HTTP, HTTPS, FTP connectivity warn FTP (Passive): Error 12031 connecting error 12031 to ftp.microsoft.com: The connection with the server was reset info HTTP: Successfully connected to www.microsoft.com. info HTTPS: Successfully connected to www.microsoft.com. warn FTP (Active): Error 12031 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com: The connection with the server was reset error Could not make an FTP connection. What do I do? I have hunted and hunted online for an answer, but can't seem to come up with one that the connection with is exact to my problem. Meet singles at DateHookup.com, we're 100% free! More information is needed as to which operating system and security programs you have installed!10/20/2008 7:20:25 AMFTP passive and active errorsbren31mnRochester, MN48, joined Oct. 2008I am using windows XP home edition on a Gateway laptop, with Norton SystemWorks Premier 2005. I did just renew my membership on Tuesday so maybe that had something to do with messing with my ports. I shut off Norton and tried again to get into msn games with no success. Let me know if more information is needed, I am not sure what else is needed. Thank you!
