Ajax Error Message - 12031 P: n/a =?Utf-8?B?bWNpbWFnaW5n?= We have recently applied AJAX to our web site, nothing https://bytes.com/topic/asp-net/answers/623763-ajax-error-message-12031-a particularly fancy, just some update panel, progress images and collapsible panels, just the basics to improve the user experience. The project has gone fantastically well except we have ran into a strange error when accessing the site from inside https://community.nintex.com/community/support/blog/2014/09/23/error-12031-when-saving-or-publishing-reusable-workflow-templates of one of our client networks. All the pages load fine without any problems, but if you try and press any buttons on an AJAX enabled page you get the following popup error message; Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorExceptio n: An unknown error error 12031 occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 12031 We got this error using one of our own laptops which had been access the site with no problems only an hour earlier, but from a separate network. We had no errors logged on the server side; something seems to be going wrong in-between client and server We only get this error whilst accessing the site from inside there network, error 12031 unknown I was under the assumption that AJAX sends all requests over HTTP, so there should be no reason for the firewall to filter anything out as its just text. We have the latest version of AJAX installed, can anyone help, this problem is driving me bald. Mar 28 '07 #1 Post Reply Share this Question 3 Replies P: n/a Ben Rush How quickly after you do something on the page does the error occur? My suspicion is that this is a WinINET error code for the connection being reset; are you possibly sending back a great deal of data during this call? Perhaps the network it does work on is closer to the server and the call takes less time? That's all I have for now - but I'll keep poking around; please keep me posted, though...I'd like to know what the deal is.... -- ~~~~~~~~~~~ Ben Rush http://www.ben-rush.net/blog "mcimaging" Nintex GalleryNintex BlogsTech Blog Product Release Announcements SupportNintex SupportProduct FeedbackNintex HangoutSpecial ProgramsNintex XchangeSpecial ProgramsLog inRegister0SearchSearchSearchCancelError: You don't have JavaScript enabled. For instructions, refer to the SharePoint documentation.More InformationFor more information about reusable workflow templates, see “Set Title and Description for Reusable Workflow Template" in the Nintex Workflow Help (2013 | 2010).For more information about the evaluation process that Nintex Workflow uses for content types, see the following MSDN article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/microsoft.sharepoint.spcontenttypecollection.bestmatchOutcomesVisibility: Support638 ViewsLast modified on Sep 23, 2014 3:19 PMTags:nintex workflow 2010Content tagged with nintex workflow 2010nintex workflow 2013Content tagged with nintex workflow 2013workflow templatesContent tagged with workflow templatesreusable workflowContent tagged with reusable workflowcontent typesContent tagged with content typesThis content has been marked as final. 0 CommentsNameEmail AddressWebsite AddressName(Required)Email Address(Required, will not be published)Website Address Related ContentRetrieving data ...Recommended ContentGet informations from a list in another
