Try downloading Windows Installer Clean Up Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 You can find this under More Information in the above link. Use it to remove all registry references to Office 2000 and then do a clean install from your CD. gil wrote: > This don't works. > Thanks. > > > "Myweb" <> ha scritto nel messaggio > news:... >> Hello Gil, >> >> Copy the disc to your harddrive and try again, sometimes cd drive >> drops files during reading. >> >> Best regards >> >> Myweb >> Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and >> confers no rights. >> >>> Windows Vista Home Premium >>> >>> When I try to install Office 2000 from a CD I get an error 1309: >>> "File not found: E:\Pfiles\Common\MsShared\Themes\Themes.inf" >>> >>> With the same CD I installed Office 2000 on my old PC with Windows >>> XP without any problem. >>> >>> Please help me. >>> -- >>> gil Smirnoff, Mar 24, 2007 #4 Advertisements Show Ignored Content Want to reply to this thread or ask your own question?
