Advertisement richard29 Thread Starter Joined: Jan 9, 2013 Messages: 2 Hi Would very much appreciate help with this problem I am trying to install KIS2013 on a windows XP SP3 system-full system info below When installing KIS2013 I am getting Error 1316 and the install stops,I have run the removal tool in Safe mode as suggested by Kaspersky and also tried to fully uninstall KIS2012 via the Add/Remove list but that stopped at a:\WINDOWS\Installer\kavkis.msi" error and did not appear to fully uninstall it. Finally using another uninstall program I seem to have fully uninstalled KIS2012 but KIS2013 will still not install and I get "A network error occurred while attempting to read from file c:\windows\installer\kavkis.msi."message.
