(might be on your beta version office disk). · actions · 2003-Sep-19 4:01 pm · ignitionjoin:2003-02-13San Francisco, CA ignition Member 2003-Sep-19 7:33 pm Thanks for answering. Unfortunately, I was so mad the beta wouldn't install, I erased the CDrw. I will see if the pro.msi from the final works. Otherwise, looks like I have to reformat. · actions · 2003-Sep-19 7:33 pm ·

yeksac Guest I have Microsoft Office 2003 installed. When I try to open any program (Word, Excel, etc.) Office tries to install itself again. So I've tried to remove Office. When I try to unstall, I get the following error message: Error 1316. Setup cannot read from file C:\WINDOWS\Installer\PRO11.MSI. Check your connection to teh network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see FILES\PFILES\MSOFFICE\OFFICE11\1033\SETUP.CHM. How can I get rid of Office on my computer? yeksac, Aug 18, 2005 #1 Advertisements Rob Giordano \(Crash\) Guest It's usually easier to go with the flow...let Office install what it's trying to install.
