failed. The installation will be rolled back in the background." I have tried uninstall LF 9.0, rebooting the machine, and reinstalling LF Client 9.2 and get the same error every time. I have tried installing just the client, the client with Admin Console, the CLient with Snapshot, Scanning and every other possible combination - all of these produce the same error. Any suggestions on how I installshield error 1316 the specified account already exists might resolve this? I'd suggest try running the Microsoft installation cleanup utility:http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/enand see if that helps. If not, you'll want to talk to your reseller about opening a support case. 3 0 Post Link replied on January 18, 2015 Hi Justin. Thanks for your input. I ended up uninstalling LF manually (deleting application files, Common Files, AppData files, etc and removing all related registry keys). I then rebooted the machine and tried the LF 9.2 install routine again. That took care of the issue. LF 9.2 is now up and running with all of the components (scanning, Admin Console, Snapshot, PhotoDocs, etc.). We're good to go. Thanks again for the response. 0 0 Post Link Be the first to start a discussion, ask a question, or create a checklist . Error 1316 when error 1316 trying to uninstall PSE 9 Billtin1959 Sep 27, 2014 10:40 AM I just upgraded to PSE 13 and would like to remove PSE 9. However, when I try to uninstall, I get : "Error 1316, The specified account already exists.", then the uninstaller quits. Some files however were deleted because the programs won't open beyond the opening account already exists splash screen. How can I clear this from my system? 6840Views Tags: none (add) pse 9 uninstall errorContent tagged with pse 9 uninstall error This content has been marked as final. Show 3 replies 1.
